Deaf Rave Live Show

Description:

For this show, I was commissioned to create a thirty-minute set suited for the use of Woofer Vests, which pulsate bass textures for the hearing impaired. I re-worked acoustic pieces I had, fusing them with my love for synth-textures and driving bass lines. I paired this with passages of heart-felt lyrics and harmonies, which were interpreted alongside me by a BSL interpreter and visuals I had prepared with captions that flowed exactly in time with my set.

I sincerely loved creating this set and experiencing how music can be adapted and enjoyed by the deaf community.
